1. Increase your Lactate Threshold
Lactate threshold is a reason which influences the swimming speed and must be considered as a serious factor during swimming. It is a common mistake that during short sets, swimmer crosses the lactate threshold. This strategy is harmful for the swimmer because this act reduces the lactate threshold. If you are losing your lactate threshold, you will also decrease your swim speed.
2. Select the appropriate Swimsuit
According to swimming experts, swimsuit is a factor for swimmer’s speed. If swimsuit is not properly fitted to the body of the swimmer, he cannot gain speed due to friction. Sometimes, the swimsuit is filled with air which creates resistance to move forward and swimmer cannot swim fast. Using a proper and fit swimsuit can increase your speed as well.
